Requirements for working as a virtual medical assistant.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
A certification or training in medical assisting
At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a health care setting
Proficiency in using electronic health records, billings platforms, and other software applications.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
A reliable internet connection, computer, webcam, microphone, and headset
